Important Events

Capulet's Party-Romeo and Juliet meet and fall in love.

The Famous Balcony scene where Romeo and Juliet express their love for each other.

Romeo and Juliet are married by Friar Lawrence.

Capulets encounter Monatagues and Tybalt kills Mercutio. Then, Romeo avenges Mercutio's death by killing Tybalt.

Roemo is banished from Verona by the Prince.

Romeo and Juliet spend their last moments together before Romeo flees to Mantua.

Juliet refuses to marry Paris. Her father becomes furious.

Juliet takes sleeping potion to avoid marrying Paris.

The Capulets discover Juliet "dead".



Romeo returns from Mantua after learning of his wife's "death". After visiting her at her grave, and killing Paris, he drinks a fatal poison that kills Romeo.


Juliet awakes to find Romeo, dead, at her side. She is shocked by this and then kills herself with Romeo's dagger.

The Capulets discover the two children and Paris, dead. They summon the Montagues and as the two families mourn, their feud is resolved.
